There is a rumor that an owner will sell all in our house - 9 apartments in total transformed - into office space. Without a lease, how much notice the tenant must be taken? Located in upstate New York, not New York.

Without the lease is terminated the conversation.

You do not have a contract with the owner. You may terminate the relationship at the end of each month to pay.

In the future, do so in writing.

In the absence of a declaration of long-term lease, the owner must have been terminated only for thirty days.

Do not assume that the building is being sold because of the "measurement and control of asbestos. While it is likely to sell at this time to review the situation to potential buyers before an offer.
